1lb Steak (cut thin against the grain)

1/4 cup
|
cornstarch
|
2-3 TBSP
|
Avacado or Canola oil
|
1/2 cup
|
Light Soy Sauce
|
5 cloves
|
minced garlic
|
1.5 tsp
|
grated ginger
|
1/4 cup
|
water
|
1/2 cup
|
Light brown sugar
|
2oz + 2TBSP
|
water + cornstarch
|
3 pcs
|
chopped green onion
|
1 tsp
|
toasted sesame seed
|
|
|
|
|
• Dust steak slices with cornstarch
|
• Saute medium high in a pan or wok with oil until browned, remove from pan
|
• Saute garlic and ginger until fragrant.
|
• Turn heat down to med/low and add soy sauce, water, brown sugar and mix
|
• Add mixed water with cornstarch and stir
|
• Add beef back to the pan. stir and fold to coat.
|
• Add green ontions and stir in
|
• Cook for a few minutes until saice reaches desired consistancy, then remove from heat.
|
• Serve with jasmine rice and steamed broccoli.

• garnish with toasted sesame seeds and green onions
